Application Deadline
We encourage you to submit your application by the listed priority deadlines to secure your spot at UM-Flint. This will boost your chances of admission and accelerate the process of becoming a Wolverine.
Undergraduate Application Deadlines
- Fall 2026 semester: Aug.10
- Winter 2027 semester: Dec.18
Students who plan to enroll in programs that have multiple start dates per term may apply after the deadline.

Direct Admissions Pathway
In partnership with 17 local school districts, UM-Flint’s Direct Admissions pathway empowers eligible high school students to fast-track their success and seek admission without going through the traditional application process.
Free Tuition with the Go Blue Guarantee!
UM-Flint students are automatically considered for the Go Blue Guarantee upon admission, a historic program offering free tuition for high-achieving, in-state undergraduates from lower-income households. Annual Security & Fire Safety Notice
The University of Michigan-Flint’s Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is available online at go.umflint.edu/ASR-AFSR. The ASR-AFSR includes Clery Act crime and fire statistics for the preceding three years for locations owned and or controlled by UM-Flint, the required policy disclosure statements and other important safety-related information. A paper copy of the ASR-AFSR is available on request made to Department of Public Safety by calling 810-762-3330, by email to UM-Flint.CleryCompliance@umich.edu or in person at DPS at the Hubbard Building at 602 Mill Street; Flint, MI 48502.
