Graduate Application Fee
Submission of an application requires payment of a $55.00 application fee. The application fee can be paid by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover) or by a check or money order drawn on a U.S. bank. We do not accept checks that are drawn on a bank outside of the United States.
The application fee is nonrefundable and cannot be credited toward tuition or any other fees. Applications received without fees will not be evaluated. All fees are subject to change without prior notice.
Fee Grants
Need-based fee grants are available on a limited basis. You must demonstrate financial need. Please read the requirements and application form.
To pay by credit card (preferred method):
If you wish to pay the fee using a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover credit card, you may apply online and enter your credit card information when prompted. Or, you may submit a paper application and attach an Application Fee Payment Form to the application.
To pay by check or money order drawn on a U.S. bank (paper applications only):
A check or money order payable to the University of Michigan-Flint should be submitted with your application. We do not accept checks that are drawn on a bank outside of the United States. For purposes of identification, the applicant’s name and date of birth should be written on the front of the payment. Use of the Application Fee Payment Form is optional if paying by check or money order.
