Why study Pre-Pharmacy at University of Michigan-Flint?
Choices. There are three different tracks within the pre-pharmacy program at the University of Michigan–Flint. You can choose from general Pre-Pharmacy, Pre-Medicinal Chemistry, or Pre-Pharmaceutical Sciences to tailor your undergraduate studies to your career goals.
Honors. Challenge yourself to go one step further – apply for our Honors Program! Our Pre-Med students who have chosen to pursue the Honors Program have had a 100% acceptance rate into professional schools, including pharmacy schools.
Established Plan. Pre-Pharmacy students benefit from an established path to ensure the best preparation possible for entry to pharmacy school. Students also benefit from personal guidance from their advisor to ensure that they are selecting the appropriate coursework.
One-on-One. Benefit from small class sizes and personal interaction with your faculty. While Pharmacy coursework is extremely challenging, having easily accessible professors who know you by name (not by your seat number!) can make a huge difference. What can I do with studying Pre-Pharmacy at the University of Michigan-Flint?
A degree in Pre-Pharmacy prepares you for entrance into the top Pharmacy schools in the country. Most students choose to continue on to pharmacy school while others choose to pursue graduate study in Biology, Chemistry, or other science-based fields.
