• Specialize. As a University of Michigan–Flint Theatre student you have the opportunity to focus your studies on literature and history, performance, dance or design and technology. Find your niche! 
• Act out! Our productions feature all-student casts and crews, and provide opportunities for students to practice their skills in stage direction and design.  Our program is small enough to provide consistent faculty/student interaction and multiple opportunities -on stage and off.
• Scholarship Opportunities. We want you to pursue your talent without worry getting in the way. Each year, our theatre department awards several scholarships to theatre students. Check out our scholarships page on the Theatre website to see all the different opportunities available.
• Community. See a Broadway show at The Whiting Auditorium. Take a swing lesson with friends and local dancers. UM-Flint’s theatre community extends far beyond the classroom! We’re just minutes away from the Cultural Center of Flint.
