About OEL

This office has two primary functions:

  1. Support the delivery of online and off-campus academic courses.
    • Maintain Blackboard learning management system.
    • Implement learning technologies across campus.
    • Provide dedicated helpdesk for online faculty and students.
    • Offer faculty workshops in online andragogy.
  2. Generate revenue through noncredit professional development (both online and face-to-face) and partnering opportunities.
  3. Support online course evaluations.
  4. Recruit stopped-out students through the Return to Learn program.

 The Office of Extended Learning reports to the senior vice provost.
