The DPT club is set forth by the students of the University of Michigan-Flint’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program to join together as a group and learn about each other and the profession of physical therapy.  It is also set forth to mentor those students that one day hope to follow in the footsteps of those who are already in the program. This club will encourage members to participate in service projects that promote the social responsibility of the profession of physical therapy.

 Upcoming Events

No-Shave November

This month we are celebrating No-Shave November by growing out beards and raising money for prostate cancer research!  To donate money, contact Nathan (nhawley@umflint.edu).  There will be a photo opportunity at the end of the month to show off all the beards and mustaches!  Ladies, don’t worry, fake mustaches will be provided!

Adopt a Family

We will be adopting a family to give Christmas gifts to this December!  To donate to this cause, contact any DPT club member by the end of the month.  We will also need volunteers to help shop for the gifts on December 10th.

Thanksgiving Leftover Potluck

We will be holding a potluck on Thursday, November 29!  Sign up for a dish in the office and come mingle with your fellow DPT club members!
