Michigan Family Business Center

The Michigan Family Business Center (MFBC) at the University of Michigan – Flint is one of 60 family business centers at prominent universities in the United States and elsewhere which provide high-level business support for family businesses in a confidential setting. Programs include monthly speakers on topics of general interest to family businesses, mini-forums on specific topics requested by MFBC members, and affinity groups for members in particular positions, such as succeeding generation members. The Center offers a learning-content website, a newsletter, and a library for members. The activities are held in the Troy region and other select locations to be convenient for the majority of family businesses in Michigan.

MFBC works in conjunction with the Michigan Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at UM-Flint which enhances the experiential learning opportunities for students throughout campus while promoting the growth and success of businesses and not-for-profit organizations.
