2025 UM-Flint Summer Camp Line Up
Future doctor? Entrepreneur? Tech innovator? UM-Flint has a camp for that and more. Find your summer plans here. While these are not overnight camps, attendees will be immersed in their chosen topic!
Summer Entrepreneurship Institute 2025
Dates: June 17-19
Age Group: Grades 11-12
Cost: $50
The Summer Entrepreneurship Institute will assist participants with an interest in business and entrepreneurship to decide if this is a route they would like to pursue in college. The program will engage students in a series of life-changing sessions, allowing them to get a feel for the field. The mission is to encourage entrepreneurial thinking and to assist students in learning about the process of starting and growing new ventures.
Summer Vocal Academy of Music 2025
Dates: July 7-18 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in David M. French Hall
Age Group: Maize Choir Grades 5-7; Blue Choir Grades 8-12
Closing concert: July 18 at 6 p.m. in the UM-Flint Theatre
Cost: $180 Early Bird Registration: Pay $150 if registered by June 6
Registration will remain open until the first day of class.
Camp t-shirt provided, campers need to bring a daily lunch from home
The Summer Vocal Academy of Music invites students currently in grades 5-12 for ten days of singing, music exploration, artistry, performance, and friendship.
Exploring Health Careers 2025
Dates: June 24-25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the William S. White Building
Age Group: Incoming grades 9-12
Cost: $60
Lunches and a camp t-shirt are provided
The health care industry offers a wide range of rewarding career opportunities that are both in-demand and impactful. Our experienced faculty and enthusiastic students are eager to share their knowledge and passion for health care with you.

Future Nurse Summer Camp 2025
Dates: July 16-17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the William S. White Building
Age Group: 13 -18 years old
Cost: $40
Registration Deadline: July 5
Lunches and a camp t-shirt will be provided
Join us for the Future Nurse Summer Camp at UM-Flint School of Nursing, where students will engage in interactive activities and explore nursing career paths with guidance from professionals and current students. Through panels, workshops, and tours, participants will gain insights into nursing roles, specialties, and essential skills while building confidence for their future in health care.
College of Innovation & Technology Tech Camp 2025
Dates: June 17
Age Group:11-14
Cost: $25
Lunch and a camp t-shirt are provided
The Tech Camp will feature an engaging Comic Book Tech Day, where middle school students will delve into the creation of comic books using AI tools. Under the guidance of Timothy Bates, Clinical Professor of Cybersecurity at UM-Flint, students will learn the fundamentals of storytelling and digital art. They will work in teams to use AI for generating comic characters and narratives, culminating in their own comic book projects. Industry professionals will evaluate these creations, with exciting prizes for the winners.
