Testing Accommodations

We understand that every student has unique needs, and we are here to provide a supportive environment that ensures equal access to academic assessments. Located at 245 University Pavilion, our state-of-the-art testing center is designed to accommodate students with diverse disabilities and provide a comfortable and inclusive testing experience.

Our testing center features 10 individual testing rooms, each equipped with a computer and other necessary tools to ensure a seamless examination process. These private and semiprivate rooms offer a distraction-reduced environment, allowing students to focus solely on their exams without interruptions. We have taken great care to create a quiet and comfortable space that caters specifically to the needs of disabled students.

In addition to the DASS testing center, the Counseling and Psychological Services office, 264 University Center, has nine rooms available which provide the same accommodations.

Our highly trained staff is dedicated to assisting students throughout their testing process. From scheduling exams to providing technical support, we are here to address any concerns and make the student experience as smooth as possible. Our team is committed to maintaining strict confidentiality and always respecting student privacy.

Whether a student requires accommodations such as extended time, assistive technology or any other reasonable adjustments, the testing center is fully equipped to meet their needs. We believe that every student should have an equal opportunity to showcase their knowledge and abilities.

Students approved for accommodations can book a testing room through their Accommodate portal. Detailed instructions on how to do so can be found in our Accommodate Student Guide.

To provide convenience and flexibility, the testing center operates 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. For additional information, DASS at 810-424-5256.
