Commitment to Service (CTS) is a program intended to help students become involved in making a difference in their community while attending the University of Michigan-Flint. The CTS program provides students with the opportunity to apply course content, develop an understanding of diversity, gain career experience, make professional connections and meet community leaders. Upon completion of the program, students are honored for their service by receiving special acknowledgement and cords to wear at commencement, a certificate of completion with a record of their hours, and a letter of appreciation from the Chancellor for their service.
