Michigan College/University Partnership

The Michigan College/University Partnership program is designed to increase the graduation rate of academically and/or economically disadvantaged residents of Michigan who transfer from community colleges to baccalaureate programs.

Program Criteria: Students must meet the following criteria to be admitted into the program: 

  • Michigan Resident
  • A past student of one of the four Flint-area high schools.
  • 2.5+ cumulative GPA 
  • Transfer student from a community college.

Goals:

  • Supporting the transition for transfer students from community college to University of Michigan-Flint.
  • Support students in achieving their academic goals, advancing class standing, and degree completion.
  • Facilitating social integration and engagement on UM-Flint’s campus.
  • Foster a sense of community and belonging at UM-Flint.
