Michigan College/University Partnership

The Michigan College/University Partnership (MICUP) Program supports and aims to increase the graduation rate of academically and/or economically disadvantaged students who transfer from Mott Community College or Muskegon Community College to UM-Flint. Program Criteria: Students must meet the following criteria to be admitted into the program:
- Flint Resident or past student of one of the four designated local Flint-area high schools
- 2.5+ Cumulative GPA
- Transfer student from Mott Community College or Muskegon Community College
Goals:
- Supporting the transition for transfer students from community college to UM-Flint
- Support students in achieving their academic goals and degree completion
- Facilitating social integration and engagement on UM-Flint’s campus
- Foster a sense of community and belonging at UM-Flint

- Networking mixer for current and potential students each semester
