CHS offers a diverse range of programs designed to prepare students for impactful careers in healthcare. Among the recent additions are four new undergraduate programs: Exercise Science, Health Information Technology (online), and innovative accelerated pathways in Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. These accelerated pathways allow students to earn a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences in three years instead of four, enabling them to apply to a doctorate in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy a year sooner, saving both time and money.

Additionally, CHS is now home to the Social Work Department and the Bachelor’s of Social Work program. The Flint campus proudly hosts four of the University of Michigan’s renowned graduate programs: Master of Science in Physician Assistant, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy Doctorate, and Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia.

CHS is dedicated to training students for exceptional patient care through unique bachelor’s degree programs like Radiation Therapy and an online completion program in Respiratory Therapy for those with an associate degree in the field. For students interested in behind-the-scenes roles, CHS offers programs in Health Care Administration, Health Information Technology, and Public Health.

Students have the opportunity to engage in dynamic, real-world learning experiences, including clinical internships with various partners and participation in Health Equity, Action, Research, and Teaching, a student-run pro-bono clinic serving the local community.
