The Honors Program at UM-Flint stands out as an interdisciplinary, inclusive group of scholars by:

  • Providing enriched academic experiences, including rigorous coursework that emphasizes the importance of diverse perspectives, honing critical thinking skills, and preparing students to be consumers and producers of research.
  • Emphasizing personal and social responsibility and nurturing civic and community-engaged students. 
  • Promoting personal well-being and growth for success throughout students’ education and post-graduation journey.
