Tuition Support for Dependents
The University of Michigan-Flint offers the Dependent Tuition Scholarship (DTS) for qualified dependents of employees (staff and faculty) from all four campuses; Flint, Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and the UM Medical Center in the pursuit of their first bachelor’s degree at the University of Michigan-Flint.
The program provides the following:
- 50% tuition assistance for first bachelor degrees to eligible spouses or other qualified adults of UM-Flint faculty and staff (spouse/OQA scholarships are limited to 15 participants per academic year)
- 20% tuition assistance for first bachelor degrees to eligible dependent children of University of Michigan faculty and staff employed at UM-Dearborn, Ann Arbor or Michigan Medicine.
