Recreation Center Members

Department of Public Safety

Recreation Center members (non-faculty and staff) are required to display a University Parking Permit. Day Pass users should contact the Recreation Center front desk to arrange for a Visitor Parking Permit.

Parking is available in the Mill Street Parking Ramp for Recreation Center members, Day Pass Users, students, faculty, and staff. Parking is also available in Lot A (flat lot adjacent to the Recreation Center) before 8:00 am, after 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday and anytime Friday – Sunday (UM-Flint students with a valid permit may park in Lot A at anytime).

Handicap Parking

Parking in a handicap designated parking space requires a handicap permit AND a University permit and is available in the Mill Street Parking Ramp or Lot A.

Enforcement

Parking policies on campus are not under the jurisdiction of the Recreation Center, nor does the Recreation Center receive any revenue from tickets issued. Recreational Services continually advocates on behalf of its members to make procedures as convenient as possible. Concerns may be directed to the UM-Flint Department of Public Safety.
