UM-Flint students, alumni and friends – there’s no better way to enjoy the fall.
Join us in celebrating on campus for our Wolverine Homecoming 2024
for a week of celebration during Homecoming. The fun will be held the week of Sept. 9 and will include campus walks, Rec competitions, Maize and Blue Spirit Events, an alumni reception, the student dance and of course a watch party for the BIG GAME!
We can’t wait to welcome you, your family and your friends to campus for a Homecoming that everyone will surely remember!
Office Decorating Contest
June 1 – Sept, 12
Show off your office’s school spirit in honor of Wolverine Homecoming! Sign up to decorate your office in preparation for the big weekend! The best-decorated office will win a prize. Decorating of participating offices begins Tuesday, May 30, and must be completed by September 12. Judging starts on September 12.
M-Healthy Walks

Meet by the arch near UCEN
Join in with your colleagues for a one-mile walk through campus–reminding us to move and stay healthy!
REC-IT!
Wednesday, September 11
4 – 6 p.m.
First Street Lawn
Compete with classmates and friends during some fun filled Halftime styled Rec Events. Drinks and snacks provided!
Wolverine Homecoming Dance
Thursday, September 12
6 – 9 p.m.
Current UM-Flint students! Come kick up your heels Wolverine style! Enjoy delicious goodies and beverages while you dance and connect with other students. Formal attire is recommended.

Alumni Blue Carpet Affair

An elegant evening where alumni will be celebrated and able to reconnect with each other and the university!
Accommodations
Riverfront Residence Hall is an option for alumni and families attending Homecoming 2023! Located in the heart of downtown Flint, Riverfront is a close walk to restaurants, businesses, and all the campus events. Free parking is available as part of your stay!
Private Suite
Individuals can reserve the full suite for their group of 3 or 4 friends/family and will be responsible for the full cost of the suite. All suites have single twin-size beds, a shared kitchenette, common areas and bathrooms.
- 3 bedroom suite with 1.5 bathrooms = $115 per night, per suite/per night
- 4 bedroom suite with 2 full bathrooms = $125 per night, per suit/per night.
The booking person is responsible for full payment. Suite costs will not be divided among guests.
Shared Suite
A shared suite is similar to a Bed & Breakfast where each occupant has a private bedroom (twin bed) but shares the kitchenette, bathroom, and common areas with two to three other individuals of the same gender. These rooms are $50 per person/per night.
All rooms have bed linens and towels.
Payment in full is expected at the time of check-in via check or money order, which should be payable to the University of Michigan-Flint. Credit Card payments can be made by calling Housing & Residential Life at 810.237.6571 (Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.).
Check-in is available after 3:00 p.m. on the date of arrival.
Check-out is 12:00 p.m. on the date of departure.
