for a week of celebration during homecoming. The fun will be held the week of Sept. 9 and will include campus walks, REC competitions, Maize and Blue spirit events, an alumni reception, the student dance and of course a watch party for the BIG GAME!

Inclusive History Project Poster Competition

The 2024 Inclusive History Project Student Org Poster Competition invites UM-Flint studentorganizations to document and share their organization’s history. The competition is open to all student organizations on the UM-Flint campus. To participate, student organizations must answer specific questions and report their findings using the provided poster template. The top five entries will receive funding for their organization!

Join us for the opening reception of an interactive photography exhibition, In Search of Memories: Exploring the Archival Gaps between Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow, which asks past and present UM-Flint+ community members to tell their stories and help fill gaps that exist in the archives. There will be food, drinks, and music! All are welcome!

Alumni Blue Carpet Affair

Alumni Homecoming Tailgate

Tenacity Brewing
Join other alumni and their families at this hometown tailgate for the Wolverine’s game against Arkansas State. Free food is available for all attendees; registration is strongly encouraged.
Accommodations
Riverfront Residence Hall is an option for alumni and families attending Homecoming 2024! Located in the heart of downtown Flint, Riverfront is a close walk to restaurants, businesses, and all the campus events. Free parking is available as part of your stay!
Private Suite
Individuals can reserve the full suite for their group of 3 or 4 friends/family and will be responsible for the full cost of the suite. All suites have single twin-size beds, a shared kitchenette, common areas and bathrooms.
- 3 bedroom suite with 1.5 bathrooms = $115 per night, per suite/per night
- 4 bedroom suite with 2 full bathrooms = $125 per night, per suite/per night.
The booking person is responsible for full payment. Suite costs will not be divided among guests.
Shared Suite
A shared suite is similar to a Bed & Breakfast where each occupant has a private bedroom (twin bed) but shares the kitchenette, bathroom, and common areas with two to three other individuals of the same gender. These rooms are $50 per person/per night.
All rooms have bed linens and towels.
Payment in full is expected at the time of check-in via check or money order, which should be payable to the University of Michigan-Flint. Credit Card payments can be made by calling Housing & Residential Life at 810-237-6571 (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.).
Check-in is available after 3 p.m. on the date of arrival.
Check-out is at noon on the date of departure.
